Meet Anne

Anne Callands-Sewell born in Virginia in a noisy inventive family.  Her parents were loving and provided a nurturing and stimulating home.  At the age of 7 her family relocated to Washington, DC and she will always remember her southern native characteristics.

 

Anne attended elementary, middle and high school in DC. and was very activity in several school activities and projects.  In her senior year she was elected to attended Eastern Airlines Flight Attendant School, where in the 70’s it was rare for a black female to be accepted in any airline School.  So, she felt honored. She also attended Prince Georges Community College and received her AA in Marketing Management and continue her education at the University of Maryland in Accounting. Anne graduated May 14, 2016 from the Steve Harvey, School of Business Acceleration. She was honored with the 2013 Living Legacy Award by Be There Magazine and featured in Trendsetters to Trendsetters Magazine Fall 2017.   She is an Amazon Best Seller, Co- author of Artificial Beaute’: The Breakthrough and The Ultimate Work-Book & Guide: To Conquer, Create and Command. Anne is filmed in a domestic violence documentary SHE WINS:BEYOND THE BRUISES.  

 

Anne met her first love in her senior year in high school and later married him. They had one son and after 20 years in an abusive marriage, they divorced. The war was over, but the battle was just beginning to build a firm foundation for her family. She encountered many struggles but her desire and determination to assist and enhance the yearning necessities for WOMEN and CHILDREN facing unforeseen adversity to pursue their visionary GIFT.  Anne embraced her experience in raising her sons and grandson.  The LOVE and expertise of nurturing children, she pursued her dream to become a licensed foster/adoptive parent. She has fostered 48 kids in her home and adopted one.  After years of experience, research, fostering children and planning, in 2010 she launched the birthing of CREATIVE VISION FOR WOMEN and October 31, 2015 announced the birthing of TEENS N2 CREATIVE SUCCESS. Her Love, Empathy and Compassion for all, she continues her vision to help others. On May 20, 2017, she launched the birthing of MOVING 4 JESUS INC, a Homeless & Domestic Violence Aid Project. On October 3, 2020 she launched GRACE HAVEN BOUTIQUE “A NEW BEGINNNING”.  Anne’s primary goal of focus is giving back to the communities and to help troubled women and children get on a path of growth to aide them in turning their lives around by realizing they are someone of extreme importance. She empower and motivates them, that they are loved and regarded as being able to obtain this path of individual success, socially, spiritually and educationally.   

Meet Danae

Danae’ Raschard-McCain was born a native of Jersey City, NJ along with three brothers; two older and one younger.  There family were named the four D’s, David, Derek, Danae’, Daryn.  Ms.Danae’ Raschard attended P.S. 38 James F. Murray School graduated and attended Snyder High School graduated;1975.  In her earliest days she was a girl scout and was a cadette, which is the highest rank, and continued on the path of being the women you see before you.  Her first job in the Federal Government was in 1976 were she began the journey as a Federal employee.  Her first job was at the National Archives and Records Center in Bayonne, NJ where she worked 15 yrs. at a Federal Clerk filing 1040’s.  

 

 Danae’ Raschard-McCain came to relocate in 1982 when she arrived in Washington, DC.  This journey was not of her choice but one of desperation; she decided long before her journey to Washington, DC she was not going to become a statistics by being a pregnant mother on assistance, nor a drug dealer, nor a drug user, or inmate of Hudson County for killing her abusers.  So, upon reaching out to her counterpart who lived in Washington, DC, Ms. Raschard decided it was time to leave her only home she had known all her 32 years.  Mrs. Raschard-McCain, met her friend named Kevin F. McCain, and married him December 6, 1991, where the two became one.  Married now 28 yrs.  Mr. McCain is not only her husband but her saving grace.  Mr. McCain helped Mrs. McCain relocate and begin her new journey.   This journey had Mrs. Raschard-McCain realizing there is more to life than death, and here her journey continued as an employee for the Nassif Bldg. in Alexandria, VA as a mail clerk.  In hopes to better her career as a Federal Government Employee she was hired as the Secretary for at the Pentagon   There is where Mrs. Raschard-McCain began working as a Secretary for the Department of Defense, 11/12/88 when she was transferred out of the Pentagon six months prior to 9/11.  God had other adventures she needed to complete and so she followed the journey to the National Guard Bureau, here she was on a quest to become the exemplary Secretary ever hired for the Department of Defense, and Her career continued for the Department of the Army until an unfortunate fall happened in Dec 1, 2003.  

 

Mrs. Raschard-McCain was placed on permanent disability in the year 2007 and continued non-work until Mrs. Raschard-McCain felt it necessary to signed herself up to the Prince George’s Community College, for two semester in pursuit of obtaining a BA degree in Sociology, however the Department of Labor saw it necessary to return Mrs. Raschard-McCain back into the workforce.  Upon receiving her working assignment Mrs. Raschard-McCain re-injured herself and again was placed on permanent disability in 2016.  This journey was definitely a roller-coaster, but Mrs. Raschard-McCain showed herself she was not a quitter and the Department of Labor once again returned Mrs. Raschard-McCain back into the workforce after ten years hyience  There Mrs. Raschard-McCain accepted the challenge and worked at the Fort Belvoir, MD as an Information Specialist, where there after 2yrs employment retired officially on March 31, 2019.  Now, Mrs. Raschard-McCain could return to her calling as God has planned.  Her journey has allowed her to write her autobiography of her journey where she states that her books called “How Dare You, How Dear You” expresses how she comes to understand the reason for How Dare You Put Your Hands on Me, and God Says “How Dear You Not believe I wasn’t with you all this time.  Danae’ says now she can see why her journey took so many different roads that lead her here.  Those were the toughest times in her life and it was all for naught.  As Mrs. Raschard-McCain continues the journey we will see where God takes her and the reason her story lives within her.
